David's Head

This is a pure watercolor painting of the head of the huge sculpture made by Michelangelo of the biblical David. This masterpiece can be personally appreciated at the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence, Italy. There are also replicas in selected places around the world. It was painted with a limited palette of primary transparent and lightfast Sennelier paints on Arches 140lb cold pressed paper. This original painting is sold unframed. It will be individually packed and shipped in a cardboard box. This painting will be wrapped in archival acid free paper. An Authenticity Certificate will also accompany this artwork.
